Morning Everyone,

I would like to share something special with everyone today. Something happened to me on Thursday night after work.

4/21/06

Tonight I saw something so wonderful and beautiful that words cannot explain. Several months ago I wrote about seeing this dog but later was told she was a coyote. Every now and then I see her sometimes a lone or running with the pack.

Tonight after work, I did not go straight home, I had to get away for awhile to think and feel the wind on my face. I took the 101 into the mountain area and there on the side of the road I saw her. I am not sure why I did it but I pulled off to the edge of the road and got out of the car. At first we just stared at each other, I cannot get over her eyes and then it was like she wanted me to follow her.

I put everything from work in the trunk of the car and grabbed the flash light and began to follow. Now here is this lady in a business suit and heels out in the desert with a flash light, not thinking about the danger or how she would explain to someone what she was doing.

I am really not sure how far I walked but a good ways and into the rocks, every now and then she would turn toward me or stop, letting me catch my breath. I finally follow up to what looked like a big hole in the ground with rocks around it and down below I saw the pack and what look like puppies. Two small ones, I wished, I would have had my camera because the light in the sky was bright enough, I could see them so clear. I climb up on a rock to get a better look but I think maybe to close because that is when she made a noise and I backed off a little.

I watched them for a while and her, she was standing on another rock not to far from me, like she was watching over them. I felt like she was showing me her family but why? Why does she come to me every now and then.

I closed my eyes feeling the wind and wondering. Once I thought she was a dream or I was seeing things because I was so tired. But when a co-work & the security guard saw her, I knew she was real.

I want to go back in the day light but should I and should I tell someone around here about them. I know that security at work search for them once but never saw them. I do not want anything to happen to them because they are free and I want them to stay that way.

You're a very lucky person. Animals do that, but very very rarely. You must have connected with her on some level for her to show you her young..

Good morning Cindi san :)Wow .. what a beautiful story! And I have to agree with @Phil .. you must have connected in some way with Mommy Coyote! Animals FEEL it when a human is kind .. you can't hide that from them, they JUST KNOW.I've always said that a person who loves animals have a BEAUTIFUL heart. :)Love ya, Cindi san <> and have a great weekend!

This is especialy inteesting o me because my nickname is "the coyote" and I somehow feel an afinity for them. I had a simmilar thing years ago with a fox. She would eat out of my hand and when she had little ones she brought them to meet me. I don't know why she did but I felt privelged that she trusted me that much. She would even come to me when I was carrying a shotgun (there were a lot of skunks around) and she seemed to know that I wouldn't hurt her. I'd sugest carrying some different shoes in the car in case you need them sometime in the future.

Coyotes are vary wary creatures. This one saw something in YOU that she could trust. I had that rapport with some racoons a few years back when they would come to the house to get some bread scraps. The mother would take it from my hand and then give it to her pups.But with the coyote, you have made quite a friend indeed.HUGS My Friend

Wow, that is really great, and an incredible compliment to you on the part of the Coyote. I wouldn't betray her trust and tell anyone where her family is. I might be tempted to leave a gift of some food for her, but not too close to her home. This is a good omen.

Absolutely Beautiful Cindi!! You obviously have a very trusting, beautiful and pure heart and soul. I agree with Phil...Animals, especially wild, don't connect like that with every human. Something within you was sensed by the coyote. Stay Beautiful!! Kellyann

Coyotes

It was about six months ago when I first saw her, coming home from work one early morning. I was tired, sleepy & no one was on the road. I had stop at a red light & out of no where this dog appeared, with three others behind her. She stopped right in front of the car, while the others walked on across the street, but she just stood their staring at me. She was so pretty & her eyes, they were like looking into my soul. All I could do was stare back at her & then finally she walked on across the street with the others.

For several days after wards I wonder what happen to her & the rest of the pack. Sometimes when I went to the parking lot, I could hear a dog bark in the distant. Then at times I would have a feeling like something was watching me but I never saw anything. But in time I forgot about her & the other dogs.

Then Christmas eve night, I saw her again when I left work, she was on the side of the road with the others at the same red light. Again I had to stop for the light, she stepped in front of the car & we stared at each other. I could not pull my eyes away from her & all night I thought about her.

I did a double shift & was back at work Christmas morning around 5:30. I got out of the car, grabbed my bag, turned around & I could have almost touched her. She was right in front of me, staring with those eyes of hers. I did not move, I froze wondering would she bite me & where were the other dogs. Then I saw them across the street. I just stared back not knowing what to do, what seamed like hours was only a few minutes. She did like the other times stared & then walked away from me. At that time I did not know but one of our security guard saw her, he told me she was a coyote. Later on that day , they search the grounds but could not found them & no one else has reported seeing them.

Tonight walking to the parking lot with a co-worker their she was sitting by the car, like she was waiting for me. We both looked at each other and then she got up & walked away. I am not sure what to think of this & maybe she is just looking for food. But why do I feel like she is watching me?
